It’s hard to believe, but it’s already time to start thinking about going back to school!
This year the G-E-T School District is trying something just a little bit different in an attempt to expedite the registration process for families while also saving some trees! In the past, parents have picked up a paper registration packet to fill out over the summer. This year, in early August, you will receive your child's registration forms to be completed via email. Emails will go to the address we had on file for the previous school year/the address you enrolled with (for new enrollees). Each email you are receiving includes the packet for one child, so families with multiple children in the district should be receiving multiple emails. This electronic packet is replacing the paper packets we have used in the past for the majority of our registration forms, and should expedite the registration process. Please complete this paperwork prior to attending one of our two Red Hawk registration days: August 9th from 1:00-7:00 PM or August 16th from 8:00AM-1:00PM at your child(ren)'s school(s).
Even though we are asking for the majority of paperwork to be completed electronically if possible, is important to attend one of our registration days, as that is where the following will occur:
We will also have kiosks and assistance available at our registration days for parents to complete electronic paperwork if they are unable to do so ahead of time.
