The Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau School District is actively pursuing talented and caring individuals to serve as substitute teachers and substitute support staff in all buildings.
The Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau School District is located along the southern border of Trempealeau County in Western Wisconsin. The district is medium sized with a total area of 188 square miles. Situated along the Mississippi River and in the scenic coulee region of the driftless area, G-E-T is just 25 miles north of La Crosse and 15 miles west of Winona. The City of Galesville and the Villages of Ettrick and Trempealeau make up the population centers of the district.
The district has a 1:1 technology initiative providing every student in grades K-12 with an iPad. There are 118 teachers as part of a 234 member staff. With three communities coming together to create our school district we are able to offer the personal attention of a small school with the opportunities of a much larger one.
The Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau School District Exceeds Expectations on the latest School Report Card from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI). The district exceeds the state average in math and reading achievement.
