Community Connections

At Ettrick Elementary, we believe that strong connections with our community make learning even more meaningful—and this holiday season has been a wonderful example of how those partnerships bring joy and excitement to our school!

Kindergarten Visits the Lamke Tree Farm
Our Kindergarten students had an unforgettable experience visiting the Lamke Tree Farm to pick out the perfect tree for our school. Bundled up and ready for adventure, the students carefully selected a beautiful tree that decorated our lobby throughout the month of December. Seeing the tree adorned with decorations the students created brought holiday cheer to everyone who walked through our doors. A huge thank-you to the Lamke Tree Farm for helping us make this tradition so special!

A Season of Giving: Food Drive Success

Throughout December, Ettrick Elementary partnered with the community to host a Food Drive in support of the G-E-T Community Food Pantry. With contributions from generous families and staff, we collected an impressive number of items to help those in need. This effort showcased the incredible kindness and generosity of our school community.

Sweet Surprises from the Ettrick Lions Club
Our holiday spirit was made even sweeter thanks to the Ettrick Lions Club, who generously donated candy canes for all our students. Their thoughtfulness reminded us of the joy that comes from being part of such a caring and supportive community.

These community connections not only highlight the spirit of the holiday season but also teach our students the importance of gratitude, giving, and working together. Thank you to everyone who helped make this season so bright—we are so grateful to be part of this incredible community!
