
Today, our Kindergarten to 2nd grade students had the honor of celebrating Veterans Day with a special program dedicated to the brave men and women who have served our country.
The students proudly shared songs, poems, and heartfelt messages to express their gratitude for the sacrifices made by veterans. It was a beautiful moment of learning, respect, and appreciation.
A huge thank you to all the veterans who joined us and to our wonderful families for supporting this meaningful event. We are grateful for your service and the freedom you help protect.

Fifth graders in Mrs. Thompson's class reviewed for their upcoming math test by playing Deal or No Deal. If teams correctly solved a math problem, they were able to choose a case to eliminate. Each case contained a range of potential house points and other prizes. Throughout the game, the "banker" made offers to teams to see if they would take the banker's offer (Deal) or not (No Deal), along with opportunities to switch their chosen case.

Mrs. Shimek’s 3rd graders have been learning about text features in nonfiction books. They visited the Nonfiction Cafe’ to explore a “Menu” of these features and wrote what facts they learned from these text features.





Students in Mrs. Byom's Art class had the opportunity to create using modeling clay.




4th Grade students in Mrs. Rouse's class made predictions involving the transfer of energy. During this experiment, students measured the distance a marble traveled after colliding with a marble of different sizes. They recorded the results and made comparisons to see how the size of a marble changed the amount of energy transferred.

Trempealeau Elementary students to had a first hand experience with voting. Voting booths were set up allowing students casted their votes between a Chocolate Chip cookie, a Sugar cookie, or an Oreo cookie. Voting took place all day to decide the top cookie champion of our school.

This week, Trempealeau Elementary had the pleasure of honoring our October PBIS winners with a special Red Hawk Breakfast! These outstanding students were nominated because they were safe, respectful, and responsible throughout the month of October.











Trempealeau Elementary students were able to dress up and say "Boo to Drugs" as part of our Red Ribbon Week.











Trempealeau Elementary's Student Council organized and ran a Food & Money Drive for the Galesville Area Food Pantry, which serves all 3 communities in our school district. Their Guess the Weight of the Pumpkin event provided a fun way to come together and support families in our community. Special thanks to Schwertel Family Farms for donating the giant pumpkin as well as a Gift Card for the winning student. The winning guess was the closest to the actual weight of the pumpkin. Our winner guessed 416 lbs and the pumpkin weighed 420 lbs!! Great job, Student Council!


Trempealeau Elementary 3rd and 5th graders are partnering with future educators from WSU to enhance their math skills and build a strong foundation in learning. This partnership will not only strengthen math understanding but also foster meaningful connections between our young learners and college students preparing for their teaching careers.











Mrs. Purvis' 2nd grade class took advantage of the nice weather and took their learning outside.





Students in Mrs. Shimek's 3rd grade partnered with their kindergarten buddies in Ms. Hafner's class to create a fun Halloween scene!




As part of our Red Ribbon Week, Trempealeau Elementary Students dressed up in Mixed matched clothing and accessories to show "You and Drugs Don't Mix".






3rd Grade students in Mrs. Stegemeyer's class learned to create their own paper bat art projects. The best part? They stepped up as teachers! These young experts are now passing on what they’ve learned to their kindergarten buddies, showing them how to create their own bat projects too.
