On November 24th, all 5th graders from across the district came together for an afternoon of hands-on STEAM activities that challenged them to problem solve and be creative. Students had the chance to work with Mrs. Lavery learning stop motion animation using clay, a pizza box, and their iPads, explore coding and robotics with the district’s Spheros and Rovers, and participate in activities that expanded their vocabulary while stretching their creativity. It was a fun filled afternoon that highlighted how STEAM combines science, technology, engineering, art, and math, encouraging students to think critically, collaborate, and create. We are so proud of our 5th graders for diving in and making the most of these opportunities!
Our Kindergarten STEAM Roadshow on November 24th was a huge success! Students explored a Thanksgiving themed lineup of hands-on stations that let their creativity soar.
A big shout out to our high school SkillsUSA members, who guided the some of our youngest learners, made sure everyone got individual attention, and helped keep the activities running smoothly.
This event was a great reminder that STEAM isn’t all about technology. Every station, including the snack making activity, focused on hands-on, creative problem-solving and letting students explore, experiment, and invent in fun, engaging ways… without any devices!
Thank you to everyone who made the day possible, and especially to our students for inspiring the next generation of thinkers, builders, and creators!

Holiday pie prep is in full swing! Our students each made a pie to take home and one to donate to the Community Thanksgiving Dinner at the Centerville Curling Club. Proud of their skills, teamwork, and big hearts!

Lady Red Hawk Basketball will travel to Sparta tonight. JV tipoff at 5:45pm with the Varsity to follow around 7:00pm.
Boys Hockey will travel to Reedsburg for a 7:00pm start.
Also in action is the Middle School Boys basketball. They travel to Tomah for a 4:30pm tipoff.

The final chance to see G-E-T High School's production of Sister Act is today! Students have been working on this show since July and are ready to give you an afternoon of songs, dancing, and big laughs. The performance starts at 2:00. Tickets can be purchased in advance at getpac.org or in the lobby starting at 1:30.
Opening night left audience members in awe of the talent of our high school students. On a cold Saturday night the best place to be is the G-E-T Performing Arts Center to see Deloris and her gang of nuns in this feel good comedy that will leave you laughing, clapping along, and at times, wiping a tear. Tonight's performance is at 7:00 with one last chance to see the show Sunday at 2:00. Tickets at getpac.org or in the lobby before the performances.
