8th Grade STEAM Roadshow Sparks Innovation!
Today, the 8th Grade STEAM Roadshow rolled into the station, bringing a trainload of creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking! Our students explored the world of robotics and programming, using Sphero RVRs, Bolt+ kits, and Indis to tackle hands-on challenges designed to fuel their curiosity and problem-solving skills.
Like a STEAM train picking up momentum, this exciting experience is part of our mission to inspire "Learning for All, Learning for Life" by equipping students with the tools and confidence to succeed in the 21st century.
A big thank you to our incredible crew of volunteers for making this journey possible and to the G-E-T Education Foundation for their generous donation, which provided the RVRs and Bolt+ kits. These tools will continue to inspire our students during Makerspace time, and we can’t wait to see how they innovate next!
A Huge Thank You to the G-E-T Education Foundation!
We are incredibly grateful to the G-E-T Education Foundation for their generous donation of nearly $25,000 to fund the purchase of Sphero RVRs , Bolt+ kits and other STEAM materials! These cutting-edge STEAM tools were a key part of our Middle School STEAM Roadshows, where students explored programming, robotics, and hands-on problem-solving.
But the fun doesn't stop there! These tools will also be available for our middle school students to use during Makerspace time, sparking creativity and innovation throughout the year.
This partnership supports our mission of "Learning for All, Learning for Life" by equipping students with the skills and opportunities they need to succeed in the 21st century.
Thank you, G-E-T Education Foundation, for your unwavering support of our students and their futures!
