8th Grade Geography Bee GET Middle Competition
Students will get a chance to compete in a fun geography trivia contest at school with their peers. I will provide study materials if they want to study, but this is a fun competition and not part of their class grade. The Geo Bee Finals will be on Tuesday, April 2nd.
All middle schoolers will be encouraged to take the Regional Test by April 1st to see if they can qualify for the International Geography Bee-

8th grade American Revolution Unit
Discussion Questions-
In the first chapter, why does Sam's dad say he is a loyalist? Why does Sam's brother say his is a patriot?
Describe how the main character is conflicted about being a loyalist or a patriot.
Describe the hardships of war that are detailed in the book.
Predict, when the main character is older will he fight for the America becoming a country their own country or will he stay loyal to the British. Explain why.
